		<description>It took me about 2 hours to get up and 1.5 hour down if memory serves.  I&#039;m a faster hiker than average though.  There&#039;s a sign at the bottom that advises allowing about twice that long.

I did it in &quot;cross country&quot; running shoes.  I think you&#039;d be fine in any kind of running shoes if you don&#039;t mind them getting dirty from mud.

The path was good in the winter.  There are stairs anywhere it&#039;s steep, except near the top where there are ladders and ropes you have to climb up.  But I saw people in their 60s doing it so it&#039;s not that hard.
