      Apparently all my friends either don’t fly enough to realize that “show up early, work and/or get drunk in lounge” is a good strategy, or have status with Air Canada anyway :)

2. What is a Maple Leaf Lounge?

   1. That’s where the suits hang out in airports.

   2. It’s the lounge where the Air Canada business class and other fancy-pants people hang out before their flights, instead of out with the plebes. The main advantage is WiFi access, though if you’re on the ball, you can just hang out outside the doors and mooch.

      I could theoretically use them for travelling home, but I don’t care much – with any luck, I won’t be spending enough time in airports to make it worthwhile.

         1. Holy hell, have I ever been missing out the (relatively few) times I’ve been in one.

   3. Where the business class passengers hang out before they catch their flight. It’s much nicer than waiting at the gate. And you get free Internet.

      This is an attempt to make you less annoyed that you’re wasting a good chunk of your life sitting in an airport.
