I just celebrated Xbox 360 day by getting a PlayStation 2.
I didn’t plan it that way, but I decided a few weeks ago to get one and Liam had a dead one, so I ordered a new motherboard. It arrived yesterday (Monday) and I just got the thing working a few minutes after midnight.
When Windows 95 launched, I bought a toaster oven to celebrate (because Microsoft ran ads saying “(whatever day it was) will no longer go down in history as the day they invented the toaster oven”.) These days I don’t actually hate Microsoft in that way. I don’t use, support, or recommend their products, but I think my time is better spent improving Linux, rather than making fun of the competition. Incidentally, I still use the toaster oven. Is anyone still using a launch copy of Windows 95?
LHR
They are probably using them in LHR to show arrival/departures; I recall one of them constantly rebooting
You’re part of the reason I stopped attending OCLUG meetings.
Yeah, you mentioned that last night.
Since I don’t know what I did, I can’t apologize specifically for it, but I’m sorry I upset you so much.
Aw, you’re so sweet. I can’t stay vengeful at you.
It involved the Cock & Lion and garlic bread on the floor.
