  1. The first paragraph betrays the extreme suckiness of the author… it assumes all geeks are men.

    That’s one of the awesome things about xkcd … there are geeky women. And not just ones who take off their glasses, shake down their hair, and turn out to be valued for their beauty.

    1. I assumed the author was talking about Munroe.. but you’re right, it doesn’t read that way. That’s pretty disappointing, especially coming from “Adrienne So.”

      1. If that’s the meaning she intended, she needs a better editor, because even upon re-reading, it doesn’t sound like it to me.
